Our Last Friday After Five

We went to the last Fridays After Five of the summer last weekend. This is something that we have done every Friday, as a family, since we have been back in Charlottesville. We would go to the downtown mall pedestrian street, get frozen yogurt, walk to the pavilion at the end of the mall, sit on the grass and enjoy live music with our friends and neighbors. Ella loved going up right by the stage and dancing her little heart out.

Last friday my friend Maddy came up from Richmond with her son and mother to check it out. Before we left the kids enjoyed some crepes courtesy of our business school neighbors who created a crepe stand business for one of their classes.

Craig met up with us there when he got out of class.

We will miss our summer tradition!

Isaac didn't want to hold still for that last picture. I just love street malls. Especially when it's so nice outside in the fall.

That does sound like a fun tradition! There is something similar called First Fridays here too and we love it. Glad that you could hang out with your friend, Maddy. You two are some seriously hot moms. Rock it, girls.
