Preschool

It's time for a little bit of catch-up blogging.  It won't be a ton, because I've been pretty preoccupied with every day things (dr's appointments, going to the pool multiple times a week (it might be the only thing to get us through this super hot and humid summer), getting together with grandparents, going to parks, running errands, doing photo shoots...) - and I never even took a single picture of any of us with my camera during the whole month on June.  Pretty terrible, huh?  Oh well!

At the end of May Ella had her last day of preschool, and her school put on a little recital for the parents.  It was really sweet and made me tear up a bit.  I especially love this last song that they sang, "Beautiful, beautiful, Jesus is beautiful, and Jesus makes beautiful things of my life.  Carefully touching me, causing my eyes to see, and Jesus makes beautiful things of my life."  It's just so sweet seeing those precious little kids singing those words.  We have loved the preschool that we put Ella in (a church that our neighbors attend, Trinity Presbyterian), and feel so blessed to have had Ella's teachers in her life.  Ella is a sweet little girl and can be shy, and it was obvious that they just cared for her and really loved her so much, starting from day one.  Here are some photos from that day, and a video of the kids singing that sweet song.

We started off in their worship room for the recital.

Look at those sweet kids!

then we went down to their classroom for the handing out of certificates, and little gifts.

Getting a hug from Miss Donna.  And then saying goodbyes... first Miss Betsy...

... then Miss Laurie, and Miss Donna.  We love them so much!

Ella was her good friend, Ada.
