Isaac read to his baby sister while Ella was at preschool.
Oct 17th: My mom and I took a trip up to Carter Mountain with the kids to pick apples, like usual. There is nothing tastier than eating an apple straight from the tree! We usually go a few times during the Fall, but this year only made it up once. Oh well - there is always next year!
Oct 20th: We took a family trip to a local corn maze. It was pretty fantastic. Besides the corn maze, they had a petting zoo, mega slide and little slides, a rope spider web thing to play on, a hay maze, and a hay ride. We all had a blast, especially the kids. We spent about three hours there, and the kids would have loved to stay longer... but we wanted to get some kind of nap in for Isaac and Eve.

I love this beautiful state of mine. The hay ride had the most beautiful views.
In October we also raked up tons of leaves. It's really amazing how many leaves we get in our tiny yard!
Next up: Halloween!
