This was Isaac's first time out in snow
Ella loved making snow angels. When she woke up on Thursday and saw that it was snowing, she immediately wanted to get her snow gear on and make snow angels. So I got her bundled up, sent her outside to the parking lot (ha!) and watched her do snow angels from the window. It wasn't a very successful angel-making time, since at the time there was only a light dusting of snow on the ground... but by the end of the day she was able to make a legitimate one,
Then yesterday we took a trip to Richmond to see the Legendary Santa at the childrens museum there. We have gone for the last 3 years, and it has become a little tradition for us. If you have not seen this Santa, and you live in the area, you MUST go! He is the real deal. He calls each child by name, climbs down the chimney every hour or so, and always knows the right thing to say.
Ella was really so excited (although you cant tell... she was a little star struck), and Isaac was a bit terrified.

After Santa we spent some time in the Holiday Village at the museum, where there are 6 different houses themed with other holidays that people celebrate during this time of year.
We'll be back next year!
7 Days until Christmas

Shut up! I am loving that picture with Santa and Isaac is looking right at you like, why aren't you saving me? That Santa is the real deal, real hair and everything.
Love that Legendary Santa. I hope you didn't have to wait long. I love that you dressed your kids up all Christmasy!
You'd be surprised if Issac wasn't terrified wouldn't you? How fun.
Fun, fun, fun! I wish we could have gone with you. Brings back so many wonderful memories with our children!
