A few nights before Christmas we went to UVa's Lawn to check out the lights. We had heard about them for a couple of years, but had never taken the time to see them for ourselves. Every year they have a "Lighting the Lawn" event, so we thought the lights must be amazing. We were a little disappointed when we showed up and saw that these were the only lights. (We thought that they would for sure be on the trees too!). Oh well. It was still pretty.
Christmas Eve
We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas with Craigs family since my family in VA (minus my older bro, Orin) all went to California to spend it with my sister. We had a really great time! We had Christmas Eve dinner with Craigs parents and his two siblings who live close and their families. We had a dinner of Chinese food, yummy desserts, played games, and each child got a Zhu Zhu pet from their grandparents. Everyone had a good time!
