Oreo Balls

I'm sure you all know how to make these... and if you don't, you should.  They are so easy to make, pretty looking, and a great treat to box up and give to family/neighbors for Christmas.

Oreo Balls

Ingredients:

1 package of oreos
1 package of cream cheese
1 bag of chocolate chips

put the first two ingredients in a food processor, and blend until smooth (you'll probably have to push it all down with a spoon a few times).  Form into little balls (a little smaller than a rounded tablespoon -my little cookie scoop is the perfect size, and makes it really easy - smooth out by rolling in hands), place on parchment paper, and put in the freezer for an hour or two so they are firm.

Melt chocolate chips in a double broiler and, using tooth picks, dip Oreo balls in, roll around until covered, and place them back on parchment paper.  Refrigerate.

They made Isaac pretty happy.  Look at the smile.  He melts my heart.

By the way... these wont help you reach any kind of weight loss goal.  But that can be fixed in the New Year, right?
